What's on Tap - 8/25: A's, Giants Looking for Series Clinching

Both the A's and Giants have opportunities to their respective series on Saturday afternoon - Oakland against the Rays, and San Francisco against the Braves.

The A's will play first in the early morning - 10:10 PT. That's AM. Brandon McCarthy will take on reigning AL Rookie of the Year Jeremy Hellickson.

San Francisco will look to take the first three games out of four against the Braves at 1:10 PT. Mad Bum toes the rubber against Mike Minor.

It's just preseason but we can't count out football. Carson Palmer and the Raiders are still looking for their first preseason after dropping their first two games. Kickoff is at 4:00 PT.

How about some Little League baseball? The Petaluma Little League team plays in the US final at 12:30 PT, and the winner will advance to the Little League World Series.

And in the nightcap, the Earthquakes will take on the Colorado Rapids at Buckshaw Stadium at 7:30 PT.
