Sharks Owners Still Committed to Winning Despite Losing Money

Sharks Sports and Entertainment, the group that owns the San Jose Sharks, say that they are still committed to winning despite financial losses.

The Mercury News reports that the Sharks ownership lost $15 million last season, even though they sold out every game.

Stratton Sclavos, one of the eleven principle owners of the Sharks, told the Mercury News:
"It all comes back to mission No. 1 -- win the Stanley Cup. We have to give the hockey side the resources to put the best team on ice every season that we can."
One thing is for certain: Sharks fans are lucky to have an ownership group that is willing to spend money on big time talent.
