Petaluma Little League Falls Despite Huge Comeback

Down 15-5 in the sixth and final inning of the US Final in the Little League World Series, the Petaluma Little League team staged a ferocious comeback, scoring ten runs to tie it and send it to extra innings.

But it wasn't meant to be, as the team from Goodlettsville, Tennessee responded with nine runs in the top of the seventh. Petaluma failed to muster up another comeback in the bottom half and fell 24-16.

Tennessee will face Tokyo tomorrow in the championship game.
