Parker Gets the Call as A's Take on Angels in Huge Series

If there's ever a time to use the cliche "must-win", it's now. The A's will face the L.A. Angels in a crucial three game series that starts tonight at the Coliseum.

Oakland is just half a game ahead of the Angels in the wild card and division race, and a series win would provide some necessary breathing room.

Jarrod Parker (7-5, 3.44 ERA) will get the unenviable task of facing Jared Weaver (14-1, 2.29 ERA) tonight. 

The A's will give Yoenis Cespedes a full day off with wrist soreness. Here's the rest of the A's lineup:
