New Faces Bring Explosiveness to Niners Offense

Randy Moss-  In 2011 Alex Smith didn’t have many targets outside Crabtree, Vernon Davis, and occasionally Frank Gore. With Randy Moss he can now throw the deep ball which was lacking with 49ers offense.

Mario Manningham-  The main goal for the 49ers this off season was to upgrade their passing offense. They brought in Mario and Moss because they had very few options in the passing game. With Mario Manningham in the fold they have a legit threat that can catch the deep ball with ease. The country saw how Mario caught the dagger thrown by Eli to basically clinch the super bowl win for the Giants.

Brandon Jacobs- For years the 49ers have been looking for a solid backup running back for Frank Gore. In the past years they brought in Brian Westbrook, and had Glenn Coffee but neither of them could fill the void. This summer after beating the 49ers in the NFC Championship Brand Jacobs joins the 49ers hoping to repeat his success but on the west coast.

Aj Jenkins- The 49ers drafted rookie wideout Aj Jenkins because he has good hands and he has blazing speed.  They drafted him for depth and also as a player that can be tutored by arguably one of the best wide receivers  to ever play the game in Randy Moss.
