The Nightcap - 8/11: Wins for the Giants, A's, and Quakes

It was a great night for all Bay Area sports fans.

The Giants defeated the Rockies as the offense finally stepped it up.

The A's got a win, beating the White Sox in a 9-7 slugfest. 

And finally, the Earthquakes won 2-1 in a thrilling finish.
