Lance Armstrong Stripped of 7 Tour Titles, Banned From Competition for Life

In some major national news, the USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency) announced late Thursday night that it has banned legendary cycler Lance Armstrong from competition and stripped him off all seven of his tour titles.

In a statement, Armstrong said that "enough was enough" and he would not fight the charges against him.

He went on to say:
Today I turn the page. I will no longer address this issue, regardless of the circumstances. I will commit myself to the work I began before ever winning a single Tour de France title: serving people and families affected by cancer, especially those in underserved communities.
