A's Look to Bounce Back Against Rays: Preview, Lineups

After being shut out last night, the A's will look to redeem themselves against the Rays this evening at 4:10 PT from the Trop in Tampa. 

Jarrod Parker (8-7, 3.48 ERA) will go against Matt Moore (10-7, 3.57 ERA).

Here is the scoop on the starting pitchers, courtesy of MLB.com:

Jarrod Parker

After going 0-3 with a 6.85 ERA over his previous four outings, Parker fired eight shutout innings in a victory over the Indians on Sunday, scattering six hits, walking one and striking out two.

Matt Moore

Moore allowed two runs on five hits in 6 1/3 innings against the Angels on Sunday. In the process, the rookie moved to 9-2 since June 1 while racking up his 10th win of the season. He is 0-1 with a 15.43 ERA in one career start vs. the A's.

Roster Moves

Tyson Ross was optioned back to Triple A Sacramento after losing to the Rays last night. Jim Miller will be called up to take his spot on the major league roster.
