An Open Letter to Bob Myers

Dear Bob Myers,

Thank you for trying to make the Warriors into a winning team. From your first day as a GM, I knew that you may actually try to get the Warriors on track, unlike Larry Riley. It seemed as if Larry Riley wanted the Warriors to lose their games instead of become title contenders. I know it's a little early when I say that. I feel that you will become one of the greatest Warrior GMs in the past decade, at least.

From signing Carl Landry, drafting Harrison Barnes, Draymond Green, and Festus Ezeli, you've managed to bring depth and size to the Warriors roster, which was desperately needed. In addition to them, re-signing Brandon Rush was also a difficult task, as he was originally torn between the Warriors in the Lakers. Literally nothing was lost this off-season, only gained. For all these additions to the Warriors' roster, and your constant need to improve, I thank you. I hope I speak for all the Warrior fans in writing this letter.

                        Thanks, Tej Kamaraju

Warriors' Management

The Warriors' fans, once again, have a lot to look forward to this season: the additions of Harrison Barnes, Carl Landry, and Andrew Bogut are without a doubt going to make an immediate impact. The Warriors have thought of literally every aspect of the game that they were weak in.

This article, however isn't a praise article, it's a hate article.

By the title, many can guess. The horrific decision making by Warriors' management is finally over. Many say that it ended after Lacob was booed at Mullin's jeresy retirement ceremony. I say there was more than one moment.

One moment came when the Lacob bought the Warriors: under new management. That's fine, everyone was happy and content. He immediately was classified as one of the worst owners in a few months. Lacob had different plans. In drafting Klay Thompson, he was looking for a Monta Ellis replacement. No one foresaw that Andrew Bogut would be coming in soon. Why Monta? He's better than Curry. I'm just going to bluntly say it. The Bucks, however could be in a bit of trouble as their backcourt is not one that will necessarily work.

When else did the terrible management end? In 18 years the Warriors made the playoffs once. Enough said. It also ended when Larry Riley was ousted as GM. Possible one of the best GMs the Warriors have had in 20 years entered the scene. Bob Myers actually wants the Warriors to win: this is why the Warriors acquired Jarrett Jack and Carl Landry. Myers was smart in his deal making and decision.

He managed to do so, although he may have over spent a bit. It'll all be worth it when just finally, the Warriors knock off the Lakers or Clippers, per say, in the first round. A new era is ushering in. Fans that read my articles should be proud to say that they were fans all along: no bandwagoning.

Myers Excited About Veteran Leadership and Physical Presence

Kelley L Cox/US Presswire

The Warriors have added so much to their roster this offseason, that even their haters give them a B+.

Personally I give them an A-. It was quite a first offseason for GM Bob Myers, who is, in pretty much everyone's opinion, better than Larry Riley. I think that he will be with the Dubs for quite a while.

On the other hand, he actually cares if the Warriors win. The Warriors management is at its best since 2007. Perhaps even better.

Myers is excited for the Warriors physical presence: something that many critics have realized that they've lacked. Not anymore. They have four players who when healthy, are capable of great things. Myers did a great job to make sure that they wouldn't have problems rebounding the basketball anymore.

Another thing the Warriors lack and still need more of is veteranship. David Lee, Richard Jefferson, and Jarrett Jack should be teaching the Warriors rookies how the game works. They will make smart decisions and younger players will soon follow.
