The Nightcap - 8/28: Giants, A's Beat Weaker Opponents

Shawn Estes made a great statement on Giants' Postgame Live: "Good teams find a way to win, and bad teams find a way to lose".

That's exactly what happened tonight in Houston, as the Giants rallied for two late runs and won 3-2 in a nailbiter. 

The A's continued their winning ways, shutting out the Indians yet again. Oakland pitchers have pitched a combined 20-consecutive scoreless innings.

MLB Standings: Giants up by 3.5 games on Dodgers in NL West, A's tied with Baltimore for top Wild Card spot in AL.
