Countdown Till the NBA Season: 8/19

Another day closer till tipoff. Although the season is far from beginning, fans are growing anxious with their teams seemingly going to be better. Who's to say that the Bobcats won't knock off the Heat in the first round. Who's to say the Warriors won't get 7th place and beat the second seeded Lakers or Thunder. That's right, no one can really project how good their favorite team can be until that moment actually comes: the opening game.

NBA Talks and Buzz:

- Kevin Durant, Scoring Champion, Olympian, All-Star, Actor?

- LeBron is likely to be back for the next Olympics (this I can be excited about: I like LeBron, and I want team USA to continue dominating in the basketball portion of the Olympics)

- Do the Lakers or Thunder deserve the top cede? (the Thunder have a young roster with promise and explosion, the Lakers are more developed with veteranship: tell me, Thunder or Lakers? Comment below)

- Kobe Bryant goes crazy in Charity Game, in 15 minutes (Kobe scored 68 points in a charity game in China, yes, yes every game counts, but 68 in 15 minutes? Come on, the guy doesn't want to slow down, ever)

- 6th Men in the NBA that deserve to start (James Harden belongs in this category of course, but then again, he may not be a 6th man after this)
