Giants Look to Take Series From Braves: Preview, Lineups

In order to accommodate ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball, first pitch will be at 5:10 at AT&T Park.

Tonight's pitching matchup features the Tim's: Lincecum vs. Hudson, as the Giants look to take three out of four from the Braves at home.

Here are the scoops on the starting pitchers, courtesy of MLB.com:

Tim Lincecum

Lincecum's shocking overall numbers mask his second-half improvement. He's 4-3 with a 3.10 ERA in eight starts since the All-Star break. Still, the 86 earned runs he has allowed exceed his 2011 total by 20.

Tim Hudson

Hudson has allowed at least four runs in an inning in seven of his 21 starts this year. He has had trouble finding comfort recently while working from the stretch. He limited the Giants to two runs in 7 1/3 innings on July 19.

Roster Moves...

The Giants called up catcher Eli Whiteside from Triple A today, and sent down pitcher Eric Hacker.
