Inquiry: Carl Landry or Dominic McGuire

Should the Warriors sign Landry? Or will it end up being a bad choice. The Warriors may end up over spending on him, and going over the salary cap: even though Lacob said he wouldn't do that. It would be a bad decision I think. Landry is looking for a new home, not a one time deal. The Warriors can't really afford to give him too much right now. Plus, he's another Dwight Howard. With some teams trying to pursue him, why can't he just make a decision and make fans happy: rather than doing what Howard does, and delay.

If the Warriors sign Landry, it'll just come back to haunt them. Landry is tough and will get the work done, but his basketball IQ isn't as high as a PF's should be. In reality, he's a selfish player who's looking to stuff the stat sheet with points. He would be a good weapon for the Dubs, but right now, they need to re-sign Dominic McGuire.

McGuire is a hard worker, a good rebounder, a somewhat good shooter, and has a tough mentality. His kind of tough is the kind the Warriors are looking for right now. Although undersized, he is quick, and will be able to guard other PF's as he shines on the defensive end. If there's a fast break opportunity, he can handle the ball himself.

At this point, the Warriors would be stupid to not re-sign McGuire. There haven't been any reports that indicate other teams are interested in him, so the Warriors shouldn't have a problem persuading him to return to the Warriors.
The only possible problem is that Bob Myers decides to spend all the money on Brandon Rush: which wouldn't be so bad. This would make Draymond Green the Warriors' backup PF.
