What's on Tap - 8/19: A's, Giants Go for Sweeps

Both the A's and Giants will go for sweeps against inferior opponents this afternoon.

First up are the A's, who will take on the Cleveland Indians at 1:05 PT  in a Sunday matinee. Justin Masterson (9-10, 4.50 ERA) will face Jarrod Parker (7-7, 3.71 ERA) of the A's.

Five minutes later (1:10 PT), the Giants will square off against the Padres down in San Diego. Ryan Vogelsong (10-6, 2.72 ERA) draws Clayton Richard (9-12, 3.91 ERA).
