The Nightcap - 8/17: Big Wins for A's and Giants, Raiders Fall in Preseason

The Giants seemingly left everything on the baseball diamond tonight against the Padres, erupting for a 10-1 rout in San Diego. 

The A's showed off their resilience on Friday night, coming back from an early 4-0 deficit to defeat the Cleveland Indians. Read more about it here. 

Then there's the Raiders, who are more worried about injuries at this point than anything. How did they fare against the Cardinals in their second preseason game? Not so well.
