Stats Analysis: (Surprise Role Player?)

The surprise player is.... (drum roll..) Kent Bazemore! Many don't think of him as much, but he started in place of Klay Thompson and did so well, that the Warriors decided to sign him, in addition to re-signing Rush. After this happened, I knew the Warriors were destined to make the playoffs. I have a feeling that Bazemore won't disappoint us eager fans. He will come off the bench, looking to create for himself, and earn himself more playing time. With his length, he will blossom into a great NBA player..

Points: Although Bazmore won't get much playing time at all, towards the start of the season, he will still be efficient enough to put some points on the scoreboard. I'm not certain Jackson will see his potential and play him more, but his season average should lie at around 4.7 PPG.

Assists: Bazmore isn't the type of guy you should rely on giving a lot of assists. Rather, you should rely on him putting the ball on the floor, and taking it to the basket. He must never pass up the open jump shot, as his long arms enable him to shoot over taller defenders. Bazemore will average only around 1.2 Assists per game, maybe even less.

Rebounds: With the length that Bazemore has, he should be a Kevin Durant type player. Except nowhere close to Durant's level of skill, of course. Bazemore shouldn't be waiting for the fast break, he should be the one to initiate it. Matched up with other guards his height, he can rebounds better because of his wingspan. Bazemore will average 4-5 Rebounds per game.

Blocks: Blocks for a guard? That's preposterous! Actually, Bazemore is a fairly good blocker for his height. He proved so in a summer league game where it was impossible to get a shot over his head. He had 11 blocks. Bazemore will average 1.3 Blocks per game.

I may be too excited about Bazemore's playing style, but these stats are always dependent on minutes.. Remember that.
