Report: Mota Returns to Giants After 100-Game Suspension

According to Enrique Rojas of ESPN, Guillermo Mota has informed him via text message that he is on his way to Houston, where the Giants are taking on the Astros later today.

Mota was suspended earlier this season for failing a drug test. Because it was his second failed test, he served a 100-game suspension.

Mota appeared in nine games this season and was 0-1 with a 5.06 ERA before being suspended.
