Pablo Sandoval Injury Update

According to Andrew Baggarly on Twitter, Pablo Sandoval is about a week away from returning to the Giants, even though he's eligible to be activated on Thursday.

Manager Bruce Bochy insists that Sandoval will play at third base, so a repeat injury doesn't seem to be in the cards. At least for now.

The "Panda" will likely bat sixth in the lineup with the newly acquired Hunter Pence manning the fifth spot.

Bochy has not determined what he will do with Marco Scutaro. Scutaro, whose been the starting third baseman in Sandoval's absence, can play a decent shortstop, and second base. His versatility will give the skipper a good problem to have, though.
