Countdown Till the NBA Season: 8/16

This is a new segment that gives you the latest news about the Warriors and their competition.

Recent reports indicate that theoretically, the Warriors do have players that could easily matchup with the Lakers super team. Although two of the best are injury prone, they are still considered to be in the top 50 players. David Lee, in this category, is underrated.
Think about that! If an analyzer gives a shoutout to the Warriors, then that means they actually have potential this year. To match up with the Lakers? That means they should be able to matchup with just about anyone.

Fans are already excited about that Halloween opening night, where the Warriors will look to beat the rebuilding Suns. Usually, the opener has serves as an indicator as to how well the team will play. The Suns won't be good in the opener, so if the Warriors aren't successful in obtaining a 'W' then it's going to be a long season. Let's take a look at recent NBA Events

Headlines that Mean Something:

- Dwight to the Lakers (Who doesn't know about this?)

- Jodie Meeks to the Lakers, too (uh, oh!)

- Bucks add Depth, sign Joel Pryzbilla (Old News)

- Iquadala adds more depth to Denver

- Kevin Love and the Wolves are ready

All of these headlines mean something, whether one or two games are on the line, or the whole season is on the line. The Warriors may have some trouble with new talent coming into the Western Conference.
