Can't Forget Richard Jefferson

With everyone all excited about Draymond Green and Harrison Barnes, people forget that Richard Jefferson, although old, still has game. He used to be the best player on the Nets with Vince Carter. He lead them to the playoffs many times.

Jefferson isn't young and energetic anymore, but he's still a scorer. I believe the Warriors can count on him to create, drive to the basket, and make a good veteran decision. This is why Draymond Green is likely to play backup PF, while Jefferson will either start at SF or more probably backup Harrison Barnes.

Other teams should fear the Warriors because they have 5 good starters, and 5 good backup players. They almost never run out of fresh legs. Harrison Barnes and Richard Jefferson are the same type of players.

Jefferson knows the game better.

Right now, however, the Warriors need Barnes on the court more often because he's young and can keep up with the more explosive SF's like Rudy Gay, and Andre Iquadala.

No one has been talking about Jefferson this offseason,  but he will be a crucial piece in the Warriors attempt to make it to the post-season. Jefferson (and Biedrins) have been the only players on the Warriors roster to ever participate in a playoff game: although I doubt Biedrins will really pick up his game in time.

Who starts at SF? Richard Jefferson or Harrison Barnes? Comment below.
